Terrified of the dentist, I haven’t been in about 10 years… scared I’ll be needing a root canal after a chip in my tooth

So I haven’t been to the dentist since I was about 11 years old. I had horrible experiences as a kid with my teeth and have been terrified of going back since then. But this Saturday will be my first time in 10 years. After a month full of anxiety after noticing my back right molar had chipped away and keeps chipping away I should probably go get that checked out. I have no pain what so ever in my back right molar but the only pain I do feel is this little spot on my front bottom right tooth. I have also noticed a slight change in my bite as my top right front tooth is now rubbing against my bottom right tooth. The pain is only when I breath in cold air other then that there is no pain. I even try swishing cold water in the both areas and there is no reaction other then slight sensitivity around all of my teeth. The thing I’m really scared about is a root canal or an extraction. Just thinking back if I would just been going to the dentist constantly I could’ve avoided all this anxiety. Saturday keeps getting closer and closer and I’m feeling more and more freaked out. I guess I was just wondering from the pictures and information I had provided if you think I will need a root canal or extraction on my back molar, and if there is also a cavity in my front bottom tooth. Forewarned is forearmed as they say.
That first molar will need either a root canal or extraction by the look of it. Sorry.
You've got heavy calculus (tartar) deposits which need cleaning up and some more minor fillings needed in some of your molars. Your lower front tooth is fine, it's just a chip in the enamel and happens regularly. No treatment required.
