I just want to say a thank you to everyone who contributes to this website and the forums. Your stories and encouragement helped me go to the dentist for the first time in 18 years! And it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I did have to have three teeth pulled (two of them were wisdom teeth), but I had no cavities, no needed root canals, nothing else other than some tartar build up. I seriously thought I would be lucky to leave with any of my teeth intact, but I guess that is the way of the fear of dentists. I feel like a new person and hope to never miss another dentist visit.
