I don't know where I should post this but I just wanted to say thank you to whoever created and maintains this site. I have not had my dental treatment yet and I am still petrified (it happens on Monday) but without this site I would never have got the courage to make even the initial consultation appointment with a dentist, nor would I have found my dentist who seems to be a very caring and sensitive person (she specialises in phobics). So already this site has helped me.
Then there are the people on this site. These wonderful people take the time to support each other and share success stories - what an amazing group of people. You have all given me such strength. Whenever I start to panic about Monday, I browse this site and invariably someone has posted a supportive message which helps me to pull myself together again.
Before I found this site, I had been called a coward, a baby, a wimp, stupid and many others for being frightened of dentists and phobic of needles. I even had a dentist who told me that I was not a nice person because I was selfish in not hiding my fear when he was working on my teeth as this made him feel bad. I thought I was alone and now I know I am not.
I know it takes a lot of time to design a website and to keep it running, and thank you to whoever is responsible for this. Thank you too to all the the caring people who take the time to post messages of support to others on this site. Those minutes you take to type the message can bring a world of hope to someone else. I hope one day soon to be able to post my own success story on here.
In the meantime, thank you....
