I just want to thank you all after the fact 
. Finding this forum an hour before I went to have a tooth pulled was a godsend. Just knowing that I'm not the only one who's petrified of dentists makes me feel better & it answered a lot of questions I had. I'm sporting a temporary flipper, having major problems talking, but oh I'm so thankful this part is over with. It took me 7 months to make this appointment from the time my flipper was made !!! It was consuming my every waking thought & I knew I couldn't put it off any longer. I'm now going to open a bottle of wine & pour myself a nice big glass & give myself a pat on my back .....
