I have lately been experiencing odd ear related issues including ear fullness, intermittent eustachian tube dysfunction, etc. and noticed my symptoms were often accompanied by a tight and somewhat achy sensatiin on my earlobe just above the jaw joint.
Since I am a teeth clencher, I started wondering if TMJ was responsible. But my jaw does not click nor does it have pain in opening wide or any restrictions.
i have read on healthboards that it is still possible to have TMJD despite this...purely from the ear symptoms.
i went to a dentist and he was much more interested in treating my bad teeth.
Do the dentists here think it might be TMJD and worth further investigation?
