Tooth in Sinus - Extraction

I just went to see the dentist after a very long time. I took an xray which I have attached. If you look in the top right you'll see it. They told me I have a tooth in my sinus but didn't give me much information since they wanted to refer me. I feel no discomfort but wondering what the long term issues could be. Also if I remove the tooth what is the procedure and recovery going to be like. Any input advice would be appreciated.

That is one strange picture. It looks to be a healthy tooth in the sinus and just below your eye socket.
