tooth sensitive when bite down

Hi All,

One of my tooth has developed a problem. It is sensitive if I bite on certain food like veggies or nachos for a few seconds. It is not sensitive to cold or hot at all ( I try to drink cold water to test and feel nothing). I have a cracked tooth before but the pain is different, it is like an electric shock or sharp pain. This time it is a sensitive kind of pain Is there anyone have the same problems? and what is that?

Sounds like you might have bruised the little ligament that holds the tooth in place. Try a soft diet for a day or so and don't keep "checking" to see if it's still sore. If it doesn't clear up in a few days go to your dentist.
