Tooth turning gray

I recently had surgery, at which time they placed a ventilator down my throat. After the surgery my teeth were very sensitive and my gums seemed to have receded. It's now 3 weeks later, the sensitivity is much better, but one of my front teeth seems to be turning gray. Could this be some sort of trauma from abdominal surgery?

Not from the surgery, but sometimes the anaesthetist can traumatise the front teeth when they're putting the breathing tubes down to keep you alive... on balance I think I'd prefer them to get the tubes in

Best pop in to your dentist and get it checked over.
