Can someone get in office treatment of whitening if they perdiontal diease?
Thanks because I'd like to get my teeth whitening.

Whitening while you have active periodontal disease won't hurt anything. If you do it prior to treatment for the periodontal disease you probably won't get as good of results. Scaling and root planing will remove a lot of the stain and build-up on your teeth and allow the whitening to get a better end result for you. It will also make sure that don't end up losing those nice white teeth!

I personally would not recommend whitening until the periodontal disease is controlled. Also, getting a good cleaning before whitening will help remove stains and help the whitening work better
