I've attached some before and after photos. I've had this filling for probably 16 years. I was eating a chicken pasta dish so nothing hard, and I just noticed that this part of my tooth is missing. I am terrified.

If I have to have the tooth removed, I can't afford a implant. Am I able to get a crown? A white filling?

My last checkup was 4 months ago and nothing was flagged for this tooth, X-Rays were taken (But I do not have them)

The photos didn't make it, sorry. Yes, you'll probably be able to get a crown/inlay or onlay or new filling. So long as the broken bit doesn't extend too far down below the gum margin it'll be perfectly repairable.
Bellshill? Your dentist isn't a wee guy called Bryce by any chance?

@Gordon

About the images, thats odd, I can see them just fine! Here are links instead:

And no! My dentist is with myDentist and it's a female:)

I'll tell you what, I've gotten into my head and I am terrified I'll lose the tooth, I'm worried I'll need a root canal, they will want to pull it cause it isn't worth saving etc. It's my first molar so it's visible when I smile as well and I don't have the funds for a implant! Do you think I have anything like that to worry about?

I remember on the x-rays, you can see all my other fillings which look like little white areas, but this tooth is a MASSIVE white area, so its a lot of filling

It says viewing this content requires registration when I click the links, sorry.

Unless the fracture line has gone down more than 1.5mm or so below the gum margin then the tooth is saveable. Doesn't matter how heavily filled it already is or not.

Bryce and I were at school and Uni together, he worked in Bellshill (so did I for a wee while) but I think he's mostly retired now like me.

Sorry, failed again. Anyway, good luck on Monday, if the fracture is above the gum line you'll be fine.
