I have just been to the dentist after suffering bad toothace for the past couple of weeks. The pain only lasts 5 or 10 minutes at a time and mainly happens when I come into the warm from the cold. He looked at my tooth and did an x ray but couldn't find anything wrong. Because I had recently had a nasty cold he said it may have been my sinuses.

What kind of problems do sinuses cause tooth wise? What would the pain feel like?

I had a sinusy (sp?) cold a few days ago, and was getting stabbing tooth pain (also when drinking hot drinks, interestingly enough). Sudafed spray did the trick
