Hi guys,
I had Damon braces installed last year and Dentist A can't seem to fix the open bite I have. She has opted to forego any tooth extraction before installation, because she advocates that healthy teeth should not be removed for no reason.
I decided to get a second opinion from Dentist B, because the open bite is still present. She advises to have all 4 (healthy) wisdom teeth extracted and I think 2 more premolars (lower) to make the Damon braces effective.
What is the general dentistry consensus when it comes to extracting healthy teeth?
