  1. I have an appt. in two weeks for the permanent filling. I had a major filling replaced in that tooth two weeks before the RCT to see if it would help. It seemed like somewhat of a lengthy/complicated procedure. It was a very deep 20 year old filling. Is the filling to replace the temporary post-RCT filling a shorter easier process? Will I still need freezing? Pretty sure I'll have it anyway, just wondering if it's actually necessary?
  2. How long after the new filling will the crown be needed?
Many thanks!

1) Yes, no, no it probably isn't necessary. :)

2) Depends on what the tooth/x-ray looks like, your dentist can answer that much better than I can here.

Thanks Gordon for the answers. I guess that was really 4 questions. ;)
