I’ve attached a photo of my wisdom tooth extraction site, and this is the 5th day of healing. I don’t have severe pain per day but it feels as it my gland is tender and swollen whenever I swallow even though I can’t feel it being inflamed or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I don’t have any actual advice, but can confirm anecdotally that days 4 and 5 tend to suck the most.

Good luck and hang in there!

The amount of pain and how long it lasts can vary. It took about 7 days for me to feel like I didn't need to take over the counter pain killers regularly after having an impacted wisdom tooth removed. It will take a few weeks for the gum to heal up. If the pain doesn't improve in the next couple of days or gets worse you should contact your dentist.
