Went to a dental surgeon and they put me to sleep I woke up it felt like a snap. I had twelve teeth removed. The exam was worse than the actual surgery. I’m eating ice cream chicken noodle soup. I want to thank all the people who supported me through this. I’m surprisingly not I. A ton of pain mostly just a little soreness I did almost fall out of the dentist chair when I woke up but the nurses were didn’t let that happen. Im just super super hungry now. For anyone who is afraid I hadn’t been to the dentist since I was a kid. And I say do it it’s not as bad as you think. I will post again once I’m healed thank you and I pass on the strength I had to do this to anyone that is afraid the tooth pain is worse then the after pain.
@ScardyCatButCatChew congratulations!! Wonderful to hear that things went so smoothly :) . This sounds like a huge success story, so would you mind for this thread to be moved to the success stories section, so that others can draw encouragement and strength from it?
I wouldn’t mind at all and thank you lol I did probably put it in the wrong section.
Such a smart move to go to a surgeon and be put to sleep for this. I've known of a number of people who have all their teeth removed and just go to their regular dentist and stay awake and alert for the whole thing. I would probably opt to be put to sleep for even one extraction. Anyhow - glad you're through it and sounding in good spirits.
Thank you 🙏 yes I am just so thankful that something like this existed because hearing from others really did make me feel like I’d be ok! And I wasn’t sure if I was going to go to sleep for it or not instead of making myself crazy thinking about the details I just went in and let them do what they thought was best. Sometimes knowing all the details can run you away. That’s why I don’t dip my toe in the pool when I go swimming I just jump in!!!! Facing your fears is the best thing to do most importantly when it comes to your health.
