Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has seen something like this. I've had this for a fews years now. My gum on the upper right side sticks out and looks to possibly be swollen but there has not been any pain. As a matter of fact, it seems numb if the area is pressed? Thoughts? Should I be concerned? Any feedback would be appreciated.. :) Thanks.. J

its called a bony exostosis and is nothing to be concerned about. Have your dentist check it out though as it's impossible to be sure from a photo.
