Uppers don’t hold

If you can afford it, a metal based denture is just better all round. If you can't then that denture could be modified for better retention.
 
@Gordon thanks. I gave them one chance to modify my dentures and they nailed it. New double impressions and send back to the lab. The lab thinned the roof and added clasps over the remaining teeth. And after a painful first tries it stays up. No more glue, this is how dentures ought te be. If I hadn’t read about this in this forum I would never have dared to insist. IMG_0097.jpeg
 
Glad it has been sorted for you. Be aware that over time those little clasps will tend to bend out a wee bit and the retention will be worse, it's an easy job for a dentist to adjust them back but do NOT be tempted to DIY it, you WILL break them :-)
 
Why ?Do they heat them ? Are they brittle ?
 
Basically they get "work hardened", if you bend them too far they'll snap off when you try to bend them back :-)
Better to let the dentist do it then they'll need to fix them for free...
