Using Super Floss for Implant Tooth

I had my dental implant for tooth #9 last year (upper front tooth). At the visit to the implanted surgeon early this April, he suggested me to use super dental floss. Since then I’ve been having weird feeling with the gum between tooth #8 and #9. And I’ve been noticing gum recession in that area. Has this happened to anyone. I am so worried that my other front tooth will fall out. Does everyone use super floss on their implant tooth? I am afraid to go to the doctor because they always using heavy metal to tab on my tooth. I always afraid that they might break my tooth. I don’t want to go through another implant with tooth #8.
