I noticed this little bump on my left lower gum a few days ago. It's maybe a smidge gray or bluish. It doesn't look fleshy. More translucent I think. No pain at all. It feels firm. I'm in my early 60s and female if that helps. I need dentistry & have been trying to get my guts up to go but this has leveled up my hypochondria and dental fear so much. For years, my biggest phobia about going to the dentist has been that they'll find something deadly in there. Should I worry or can I calm down? Sorry about the blurry photo

It's most likely a blocked minor salivary gland. The little tube that exits into your mouth can get blocked occasionally. Give it a week, if it's still there go and get it looked at.

Oh, thank you so much! I feel much, much better!
