When am I not at risk of an infection of tooth extraction?

I got my tooth removed 4 days ago and i wont be calm until i know im safe from an infection and or dry socket, can someone please tell me when its unlikely or i wont be affected by an infection in the socket
and also dry socket?

All I know about dry socket is from my husband..........thankfully I have never suffered through one myself.
It is very painful like a toothache and I think the area looks inflamed and has pus in it.
Like I said in my last post, the best thing to do is to call your dentist.

Due to my rather anxious 'obsess over every symptom' of a wait (I've just had an extraction) iv had time to do lots of reading, I think once 72 hours are past it is normally clear if u have developed dry socket... Because by then it hurts a ton. Not sure on infection though.
