White bump on the side of my tongue in the back.. Please help im so scared..

I have a white bump on the back side of my tounge where folate papillae(?) are. It does not hurt it has been there for a month but at times seems to go away some. I am scared to death I have cancer. Im 32 never smoked or drank. I saw an oral surgeon 2 weeks ago and will have some broken teeth removed in 2 weeks there. He never mentioned it and I was so anxious i forgot to mention it. I have health anxiety to begin with and this is putting me over the edge I've been worrying myself to death. I included a pic any Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

*Also at the oral surgeon I had taken panoramic xrays as well i dont know if this would show on it or not

I know what it's like when you see something that shouldn't be there and now you are picturing the worst, my body likes to give me surprises and scares. I would do a search online, but don't spend too much time, and also make an appt. to see your reg. dentist asap as the longer you go without a check, the more it is going to eat at you. Just stay calm, take deep breaths, get an appt. explaining how worried you are about your tongue to the receptionist. The mind is powerful and likes to go to dark places but try to think positive. Deal with the news when you get it. I found out I needed a root canal and crown, thought that was almost the worst news but I'm over the root canal.
