Hi
I’m having my tooth extracted tomorrow it has a hole in the side from gum level to about halfway up the side of the tooth. I’m nervous but I just want it gone I’m so fed up of it hurting. The problem is the gum keeps becoming sore near the hole and trying to grow up my tooth where the hole is. I saw my dentist on Tuesday when they booked the extraction for Friday the gum was normal then but today the gum has become a bit sore near it again it’s not swollen a lot not painful just a bit and I can tell it’s trying to grow up the tooth again this constantly keeps happening. Will they still be able to extract my tooth ? I’m sure it’s not an infection as this has happened multiple times now the gum try’s to grow up then just stops again and calms down. Just panicking they won’t be able to remove the tooth because when the gum does this it goes into the hole and I get the horrible nerve pain again.
Any help would be fab
Thankyou

Also would the gum being slightly sore effect the numbness ? Worried it won’t go numb ? Thanks !

No it won't matter.
