Wisdom Teeth medicated stitches

So I got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and was told I did not get the dissolvable stitches instead I got medicated ones. I may sound like a wuss but I'm just wondering if it hurts to get the stitches removed? Anyone who has had this experience please help .
