Hello! It’s been a while since I’ve been on here and I thought that I was doing better but it’s all back again with my fear.

I’ve been having some pretty bad ear pain today and I took a look in the back of my mouth and my back wisdom tooth that has had decay for a while, I think a tiny bit of it broke off.

My dentist let me know that I won’t be able to get my wisdom teeth fully removed because they sit too close to my nerves so I would have to get a coronectomy. I think that’s what she meant where they just removed the top part of the tooth. I don’t know if that’s the right spelling for now.

What can be done for now? I cannot afford to get that procedure done right now. Will they be able to fill this like a regular cavity? What will happen to me? I’m not able to afford it so what can I do? I have extremely bad phobia because I’ve had some really bad dental experiences especially with Novacaine so I’m panicking. I don’t think I can get to the dentist for a couple of weeks. Will it be okay for now?

Please help. I don’t want this to turn into something serious, but I’m going to need a temporary solution.

I assume it's not sore? It'll keep till you can afford to have it sorted out properly.

@Gordon it’s a touch sensitive. Gum is sore. Could a filling be placed or some type of intervention for now? I have an appt in 2 weeks to check it out.

My plan is to get the wisdom teeth removed in the winter (December/January.)
