I have a crown prep appt coming up and didn't realise how long it was going to be until I looked it up. I have interstitial cystitis and cannot hold my bladder longer than 45 minutes maximum.
My dentist is very skilled but lacks bedside manner. I don't know that he will allow me to have a break to use the toilet.

There are plenty of natural breaks in the stages of doing a crown, I'm sure it won't be a bother to let you have a quick bathroom break.

It'll be more bother to him if I leave a puddle to clean up!
In all seriousness, I can't help it. It's just not fun running across the waiting room a few times!

At my old dentist when they ruined my nerves...they removed a molar but the roots wouldn't come out.. they spent 90 minutes digging, the nurse, the dentist and me all had blood on our faces and I had to go to the loo half way through and the look on the faces of the waiting room were awful. They never did get the roots out after that.
3 months later they botched a root canal on the other side and bingo bango bring on the nerve condition.
