Hey guys

This morning I had a cleaning of the entire left side of my mouth. I have to go back for the right side. My mouth was so numb that I did not pay attention to it until just now when I went to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and saw that my gums are bleeding now from the cleaning. Like alot too. I know this would happen but what do i do to rinse my mouth besides water. I see a big bit of built up blood between my teeth that isnt going away with water. I am afraid to brush until late tonight. So just wondering is this normal???

Yes- this is ok- it needs to bleed so that things can heal.
Rinse with luke warm water with some salt stirred in.
Remove any little clots with a clean tissue or cotton bud.
everything will soon settle down

My appointment was at 9 am in the morning. Is it normal for it to still be bleeding at 2:09 in the morning the next day???

Okay well I called up the dentist and he told me to come in. So i just got back and he basically sealed me up with something beginning with a C

Told me I canot brush for a day and not to rinse. The only thing I can use is regular tea bags if need be. All these years of avoiding the dentist and this morning I just shot right up to get to him. Who would of thought this would be the case ever :P:P

Quck followup question

Ok well the bleeding after my cleaning around one tooth just would not stop. I went in early this morning and he did what smelled like a burning sensation on me. I believe I heard him say laser. He told me not to brush at all today and not to rinse. Just to use tea bags if needed. My question is does this almost like burn mark that he left on me go away soon? How long does it take to appear back to normal. It looks like he just burned the whole gumline around the tooth. When do I start brushing as well?
