hi, i had a really sharp pain back there for about 2 days , felt like someone had stuck a nail in my tooth lol, anyways its now crumbled down as i hate going to the dentist, i realise i should have went before it got to this stage but i didnt think it would as i take quite good care of my teeth brush twice a day, maybe its the smoking, anyways was just wondering how the dentist would remove a tooth that is crumbled to the gumline a little bit poking out at one corner but not much back right top wisdom tooth, is it quite easy to just have this removed?

thanks

i recently had two wisdom teeth removed that were broken down and rotted to the gumline. my dentist had no trouble extracting them. i've read from dentists here on the forum that broken teeth like that are actually easier to remove than fully intact teeth.
