I’m currently in Spain for my study abroad program.
I had my two upper wisdom teeth removed last week 22/12 in Australia.
The right side healed up very quickly and had no problems.
However the left side was starting to really hurt by day 5/6 and worsened by day 7.
I went to the ER on day 7 and they prescribed me some augmentin and said most likely infection.
I’d been on the augmentin for 5 days and noticed very little improvement.
I still flew to Spain for my study program and today I visited a dentist since I was desperate.
It was hard with the language barrier but he basically said to scrape and clean the pocket that was hurting or he called it a curretage.
I didn’t realise that this would mean I would have to go through the whole process again. I noticed not many people get this as well. But I’m very young and naive.
I went with it cause I didn’t know what to do and honestly in hindsight idk why I didn’t take time to make a decision first but I regret it so badly.
I’m so upset and scared that this is going to make things much worse. Now does this mean I can’t eat for days and recovery has “reset”? I was already back to eating solids despite the pain before the dentist did thisz
Can anyone please advise me as to what to do?
Do I just wait this out or should I visit a different dentist?
Will it heal quicker this time or take just as long?

Not a big fan of San Miguel but I quite like Estrella Damm.
