Help! Swallowed my Amalgam filling!

Hi, I just broke and swallowed my Amalgam filling and now I'm worried about getting sick. Is this a real possibility? I mean I get mercury is dangerous but what about the amount in the filling? I'm really freaked out. It probably doesn't help I now have yet another dentist appt but still...

Nope, you'll be fine. I would suggest that you if you are concerned about it damaging your insides (I'm thinking more about it cutting the lining of your digestive tract), I would talk to a regular doctor. The doctor might suggest that you keep an eye out for the filling in your stool.
