I just got NHS dentures but there yellow is there anything I can do I can't afford to get implants I was hoping the dentures were white I had no teeth for 2 years as i got beaten up I was to scared to visit a dentist

Any help or advice would be appreciated

Didn't you get a chance to approve the dentures at the try in stage?

The only way forward now is to go back to the dentist, tell them that you're unhappy with the shade of the denture teeth and ask how to remedy it. There are a couple of options.

My gums are so sore I have infection and the dentures are killing me the pain is awful I can't eat anything

They looked white when I got them but when I look in the mirror they look yellow I just think dentures are for me but I am on benefits I can't afford implants can I survive with no teeth

Go back to the dentist and get them adjusted. Immediate insertion dentures always need several adjustments.

Dentures have a bit of a learning curve, you don't just shove them in there and bob's your auntie.

Yes, you can survive without teeth, but you shouldn't have to.
