hi to the dentists in the forum !

i have a white tiny lump on my gum near a broken tooth that needs extraction. i have had this on the opposite tooth which is also broken and needs extraction. (im working on getting both removed under iv) the last time it developed into a insane pain and swollen but this time it hasnt. i feel occasional pain on my head at the front and the back, sometimes on my ear, but i dont know if thats from the cavity i have at the top last molar. since the broken teeth are on the middle of my bottom jaw. i also have a cold sore at front of my mouth and that hurts a fair bit too.

im going to call my dentist to have a check on it but i need time to better my mental health before i get the iv sedation..

im scared this will develop into something worse on my mouth like cancer or develop any further, because google is scary.. i know a may be paranoid about it, so im asking here instead of staying panicking about this..

i just need some time to get myself mentally safe enough to go through iv, and i am afraid not to have that time before more damage is done to my mouth .. my mom keeps saying it could spread to my jaw and need jaw surgery

any insight ? i know this probably has been asked, i dont really use forums so i dont know how to find it

Not a chance in hell. The reason it's not been particularly painful is that the infection is draining out through the white pimple bit.

Tell your mom she's wrong (good luck with that, I think I'd rather have the surgery...) :-)
