Today I had an appt. at 3:30pm and got the lower-right 3 molars filled with I believe a composite material.
Anyways, aside from the major jaw pain and tooth ache my bite feels off. When I clench down those filled molars are the only ones touching unless I hold my jaw awkwardly. Therefore there is a gap and none of the other teeth are touching. The dentist did a bunch of those bite paper things. I honestly couldn't tell if it felt good or not cause I was all numbed up.
Anyways, it's driving me crazy and it's only been several hours since the operation was completed. Should I just wait till my next appt. (in 1 month from now) or call them tomorrow and tell them?
Also can composite fillings be removed? I know that she did quite a bit of drilling to remove decay so I'm worried if it was removed there'd be too little real tooth left considering I have major bruxism and my teeth are already very worn down with almost no enamel left.
Next months appt. is for fillings on the bottom left 3 molars (opposite side). And then from there I will probably need both top sides done.
