I have had oral conscious sedation twice. The first time it was great and I do not remeber a thing. The dentist administered it along with nitrous. The second time was thru a differnet dentist and I had to pick up 2 pills from the pharmacy. This dentist does not offer nitrous so it was only the two Triazolam pills. I was not relaxed and remember the entire procedure. Could the lack of nitrous be the reason for this or are there other possible factors? I ask because I have another procedure upcoming and I want to be sedated for that. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Oral sedation is very imprecise, there are a load of factors affecting how well it works, the nitrous may have had an effect but it could have been something else. Sorry to be vague, there's no definitive answer :-(
