Really hope someone can offer some advice. About a month ago I started getting short sharp pain in the top left of my mouth, but this was only when I drank or ate something hot. I have two small fillings and one large one in this area. I saw the Dentist last week, he checked, blew air in and took an x-ray but could find nothing wrong. Not sure what to do next. I am absolutely petrified of severe toothache, having had several bad experiences of this! I trust my Dentist completely (I have suffered with Trigeminal Neuralgia for over 3 years and he has been so supportive of me as the TN affects all of my teeth on the left side. I know this pain is not connected to the TN as it has only been when I have something hot in there. Yesterday it did it when I had some diet coke. Just dont know what to do next. Any suggestions. Really dont want to have to wait until the pain is severe before we can find what was wrong, as it this point it will probably be too late to save the tooth. The Denist said that he could only say it was probably sensitive teeth, Can sensitive teeth be like this? Why has the sensitivity just started out of the blue.
Hope someone can help.
