Hi again,
When I was a kid I fell off my bike knocking out my two front adult teeth. About 4 years ago I had permanent caps (veneer, fake tooth) put on, they grinded down the old tooth and replaced them. One is perfect but the other tooth my gum is kind of stuck up too far and my teeth are uneven now. You can kind of see the top of the cap even in my gum. Can this be fixed after so much time has passed?
Thanks, Nicole

Sometimes as you grow older, the gums mature and end up being higher than they were resulting in an exposed margin. You should have a dentist look at it to see what can be done. I'm guessing most likely that the restoration might need to be replaced.
