i have been bleaching once a day and twice on a few days for a week now. 22% carbimide peroxide. how long is it safe to continue bleaching? the first few days i noticed a big difference from yellow to a milky colour - but then it stopped! its like its at saturation point, and won't go whiter. so is it safe to bleach away? or is this the whitest they will get now? don't want to damage the teeth now that i've gotten all my major problems resolved!! this is my reward to help me feel more confident smiling etc, since i spent 10 years without dental treatment and ashamed of my teeth.

So far as I'm aware there's no harm in bleaching for longer than a couple of weeks, but as you say, there is an "end point" where the teeth just won't get any whiter.

Might be worth stopping for a few days and let your teeth re-hydrate, bleaching tends to dry them out a wee bit, see what they look like then and maybe have a chat with your dentist about things at that stage?

cool, will do that, thanks again its much appreciated :-)
