How long until you felt comfortable eating and brushing normally?

Hello, so I will need to have two wisdom teeth removed by an oral surgeon. Also, one of them has a large cavity. I have been looking at healing guides and timelines, but I'm curious to hear from you guys how long it took to feel like you could eat and brush your teeth without having to be careful and extra gentle, and not have to worry about any pain from the pressure.
