Nervous about scheduling an appointment about bumps on my lower gum.

I have a severe fear of the dentist and have admittedly put of going to see one for awhile now. A few days ago I got a canker sore (it's healing now, shown in the bottom right) but now I have these bumps near my tooth and I'm hoping this is something I can wait out and it'll get better? Or is this serious?

No it's not serious. Might be a viral infection, give it a few days and see how it goes.
