On the upper right side of my mouth whenever I chew it feels like the food is pushing up against my gum and it gives a weird sometimes painful sensation… food gets stuck there a lot and flossing sometimes the floss tears or gets stuck too and leaves an odd pressure there.

I’ve had two front teeth removed could this be due to the teeth shifting ?? It’s hard to even chew on that side right now.

When I look at the teeth I don’t see anything visibly wrong …

I also want to add during my cycles my teeth and gums tend to hurt allegedly due to change in hormones… could this contribute to?

It's possible that the extractions have caused some drifting which is causing the issues, hard to say without looking at them.
There's a link between gum issues and hormone fluctuations. Food getting stuck in the area is more likely to cause gum problems in the longer run though.

@Gordon so I was chewing today and hurt a loud CRUNCH on that side. I spit out the food I was eating and rinsed and didn’t see anything? My teeth don’t look any different either. The gum has also now stopped hurting, however there’s a bad smell when I floss there.

Any idea what happened? Was it stuck food or something with the tooth ???

I plan on going into the dentist, last scan they said nothing about that particular tooth was wrong. Just anxious about what that could be :((

I’m back I took a photo just to see where I couldnt and it looks like a piece of tooth broke off? IMG_3080.jpeg

Sorry to post again but I have so many mouth issues but I brush, floss, and occasionally use parodontax mouthwash. I have no idea why but it feels like all my teeth are falling apart. Could I have some kind of disease ?

Yeah, you have a cavity there. I hate to break bad news but I think the tooth in front has a cavity too, sorry.

The dental profession has really messed up with our constant droning about tooth brushing.

Tooth brushing and flossing are essential to prevent gum disease but they do almost nothing to stop you getting cavities. Fluoride in the toothpaste helps but that's down to you spreading it on the teeth, nothing to do with the actual brushing part :-)

So you need to look at your diet, the frequency of consumption of sugars (not just sucrose) as well as the consistency (sticky things are worse!) and the acidity of the foods. Sipping a can of low pH soda intermittently for 3-4 hrs is going to do much more damage than scoffing several bars of chocolate in one rapid binge... "healthy" foods like smoothies, dried raisins etc are all fairly good at causing cavities but people think they're doing right by munching them in between meals.

@Gordon thank you so much for your response. I’ve pretty much accepted I’ll likely have dentures on the top of my mouth at this point. As it seems all the teeth on both sides have so many cavities and major issues and I’ve had so many pulled already… it just seems less expensive and stressful to try and root canal… drill.. and ‘save’ teeth that are already on the verge of dying anyway

Maybe I feel hopeless after SO MUCH dental work but the diet thing makes sense… I have ibs and stomach issues and acid is a huge problem for me. As is making sure I have enough vitamins and supplements it’s rough.

My next dentist visit will be next month to get another molar out and then it’s fixing my top teeth however I decide. Thank you 🙏🏽
