I had a molor extracted 6 days ago. I noticed that my bone is showing where the tooth was extracted. Is that normal? I do have pain but nothing IBprofien cant take care of. I do not eat on that side of my mouth at the present time and I rinse my mouth out frequently with salt water & peroxide. Is it normal to be able to see my bone? Should I be worried?

If there is pain and you can see the bone, I would suggest seeing your dentist to get it looked at. It could be a dry socket. There is no saying for sure, since different people experience different reactions to dry sockets, and healing can vary, but it would be best to get it looked at just in case. If you still aren't sure, do a search online of the symptoms of dry sockets, and see if you have any of the symptoms.
