I had an emergency root extirpation on the 3rd September at an emergency dentist (not my own) and medicine packed and a temporary filling placed. My appointment with my dentist was 17th September and I was really worried and panicked. My dentist checked everything and it was fine but confirmed they cannot fit me in for part 2 of the root canal (cleaning the canals and sealing them) until 25th November. Is this normal to wait 12 weeks? I am not experiencing any pain but I’m worried it will come back before then. What if the pain returns?
