Root treatment and temp filling came out.

Hi everyone.

I had root treatment on Monday and my temp filling fell out today. I have my 2nd appointment on Thursday to complete the root treatment but I'm worried about what will happen now that my temp filling has fell out.

I'm not sure if there is enough filing left in the tooth to still do it's job or if it will cause problems. How do I know? It still looks like it's filled but it's a very very deep hole.

Should I try to get an appoimtnet earlier or should it be ok to wait the 5 days.

Any advice would be most appreciated as I'm scared enough at the thought of having root treatment without there being something further wrong.

It should be OK, but there's no harm in phoning the dentist to ask their opinion.
