I did it! I have PTSD, ADHD and OCD being in the dentist chair is traumatic for me.
I was very scared when they told me they would be doing bone removal and stitches, I really didn't want that due to the harder recovery.
I was shaking and beforehand and crying but they were no nice and patient at the dental hospital and allowed me to get used to being so numb. Once I was I let them go for it and it was done in 12 minutes ish.
The after was definitely worse when the numbing wore off but I took a solphadine max, it is the next day and I am just on paracetamol and using an ice pack. I do feel very tired as I didn't sleep very well but I'm so glad I did it. I was in severe pain on and off for 9 months because no one could decide what was actually wrong.
If anyone thinks they can't do it, you truly can but I totally understand how you feel. I'm happy to answer any questions anyone might have!
