I received a temporary dental bridge for my front teeth yesterday & am waiting 2 weeks for my permanent. I am terrified the bridge will become loose & fall out -- what are the odds of this happening? I am not biting into anything & only using my back teeth. If it does become loose when I am out of town, is there anything I can take with me to temporairly put back in until I can get to my dentist?

You can get temporary cement from any drug store. I think chances of an entire bridge falling out is pretty slim, a single temp crown maybe. Don't eat anything sticky or hard on it.

I had a temp over all the top for over a year (waiting for orthotic, bone grafts, implants to heal), it took that long to become loose, but never fell out.

I REALLY appreciate your prompt reply.. I am trying to trust in what the dentist said & now you too.. just a little (A LOT) paranoid due to it being my front teeth.. you have helped me so much. Thank you!
