A part of the reason why I haven't gone back to a dentist to do something about two of my teeth that are giving me trouble is the fact that I didn't go back to finish a root canal and I feel very anxious about what the dentist might say in response to that.
After I gathered all my courage to get my root canal retreated, I was sent home with the instruction to go back and get the root canal properly filled permanently by the general dentist, as the endo doesn't handle that part. But after being in horrendous pain with that tooth in the days following, I just never went back to replace the temporary filling with a permanent one.
Well, now that it hasn't stopped bothering me, I honestly just want the root canal tooth pulled. But I'm so scared as to how the dentist will respond. I'm scared they're going to shame me for not going back and finishing the procedure. I'm scared they won't pull the tooth due to it. And I'm scared of finding out more teeth problems I wasn't aware of. (Especially because this is the only dentist near me with laughing gas, which I can't get work done without it.)
Give me some advice please.
