Why does Gengigel make my mouth really dry ?

I'm using Gengigel,because i have swollen Gums

As soon as i put it on,my Lips & Mouth instantly go really day.
I can't see anything in the leaflet mentioning that

Does anyone else experience a really dry mouth,when using it ?
Also it it normal ?

I haven't had that experience at all Issy, and it did my gums good. Didn't cure them completely because I'd left them far too late, but using it twice a day did cut down the inflammation but if I stopped using it, the inflammation returned.
I think it says in the instructions not to get it on lips, just rub it into gums, keep your mouth open for a little while for it to dry, but I didn't get a drying of the mouth at all.

A lot of people also use Cosodyl I think it's called, mouthwash. I tried but it's revolting and because of my gagging problem couldnt use it properly even the once.

I also tried Cosodyl Mouthwash. Was too strong for me.
Dunno why it give me a really dry mouth & Lips

Think i'm gonna try the Gengigel Mouthwash. Maybe it won't make my mouth so dry

This Gel makes my mouth so dry,i can't talk properly. Also the inside of my lips stick to my Gums !
