Does it hurt more?

I’m having 5 teeth pulled next week and one of them is a lower 2nd molar that’s previously had a root canal. I’ve heard that:

a) lower molars are more painful/complicated to extract and

b) extracting a tooth that’s previously had a root canal is more painful/complicated

Is this true? Or am I panicking over a myth?

Nope. IME they're a bit easier than upper molars or some upper premolars. They should not be painful to extract at all.

Bit of a myth that one. Some are more complicated some are actually easier.
