Will my front teeth require root canals?

I have not been to the dentist since I was about 8 years old. My dentist pretty much put me and my brother in straight jackets and traumatized us.... bad teeth run in my family and I also have a thing called "meth mouth" from being raised in a method lab but I've never done drugs. I for the most part brush my teeth 2x daily sometimes more. My 4 front teeth have sever decayed between them. I don't have pain from them tho so I'm hoping I don't need root canals. I'm going to the dentist today for the first time in years and I'm scared shitless... also embarrased and afraid the dentist will chastise me and make me feel worse can i have these just filled? Or a crown? I'm so scared to have them pulled or root canaled. I'm only 19 and my teeth have been like this for years.

I would suspect that you will need one or more root canals. I hope that you are able to carefully choose your dentist. I would call in advance and tell them how you feel and ask for their support and not their judgement. If you want get someone else to call for you.

I just returned from the dentist. I need 10+ root canals I am so terrified. There's something wrong with every single one of my tooth. Some are small little cavities or white spots but atleast everyone needs work;( all I have is state insurance so I'm lucky to be having these fixed at all

Are you in the US? If so, I would definitely try to get a second opinion (and, either way, at the very least post the xrays for comfortdentist to look at). The problem with state insurance in the US is that dentists are incentivized to over-treat while at the same time, provide low quality care.
