Hi There! I went to the dentist 3 years ago and got everything fixed up and done. Now, it's 3 years later and I have, what I feel, is a large build up of tartar on one of my back teeth. I have a cleaning scheduled for tomorrow to get that fixed. When I look at my other teeth, I don't see anything other then tartar build up. I have not always been good at brushing my teeth or flossing. I am so scared I will go into there and need extreme work done. I have benefits now and that is why I am going in. I am nervous that there will be large problems. I do not feel pain very often, if ever. My one back tooth looks like it is a bit grey/black but could be tartar build up. I am scared that the dentist will judge and that she hasn't seen anything this bad. My other fear is that I will need to loose my teeth. They don't look like they are very bad but I am scared. I am only 25 years old and don't want to loose my teeth. I am not embarrassed by my front teeth as they are not bad looking, they are pretty straight, they have a bit of plaque on them, but otherwise seem to be good. I am just worried I will go into there and everything will be wrong. What can I do to try and ease my nervs? I want to get this dealt with and if I need dental work done, I want to catch it before it gets to bad, now that the dental coverage is available to me! But I cant seem to make my nervs go away!
