My 9 year old has had a loose baby tooth for a few weeks now, This morning two tiny pieces broke off. Should I be concerned? She will be going for a cleaning/check up next month but I'm wondering if I need to get her checked out now.
Thank You

If it's already loose, the dentist might be able to just get it out of there. Our dentist did something similar recently and he didn't even charge.....since it was just a matter of pulling a baby tooth that was already loose. There was no prep involved.

Is the tooth hurting? Is it causing you anxiety? It might be worth a trip to the dentist to ease your mind.

Good luck! Keep in touch!

If it's loose, it should be pretty close on it's way out so a few minor chips shouldn't be an issue I would say. Unless it's bothering your child, you could wait until your visit in a month. Which tooth was it and what parts came off?
